Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Storeman to join our Hope Valley warehouse team.
This role is hands on and practical, however we’re always on the lookout for someone who wants to take on more responsibility over time.
Job Description
About the Role
You'll be responsible for the safe and accurate handling of stock, tools, and consumables in our warehouse.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Receiving and checking incoming goods for quality and accuracy
Managing inventory using our tracking system
Processing paperwork and updating stock levels
Correctly labelling and storing goods
Picking, packing and dispatching orders
Safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Supporting regular stocktakes and warehouse organisation
You’ll be working closely with a great team and a supportive leadership, with opportunities to develop your skills and step up into greater responsibilities.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Previous experience working in a warehouse or stores environment
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Good level of physical fitness and safety awareness
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, sense of humour and strong work ethic
Computer literacy (experience with inventory systems is a bonus)
A forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
Integrity, urgency and a genuine care for doing the right thing
A team first mindset
If you’ve worked with mechanical and electrical tooling before, even better — but if not, it’s not a deal breaker.
